Investigadores del Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Oncológicas (CNIO) de Madrid han participado en un estudio internacional que ha identificado cuatro genes, FGFR2, TNRC9, MAP3K1 y LSP1, cuyas variantes elevan el riesgo de cáncer de mama en aquellas mujeres portadoras de uno o varios de ellos.

El estudio, publicado en la edición digital de la revista 'Nature', abre un nuevo campo de estudio ya que se han analizado aspectos genéticos a los que antes no se había prestado atención.
