Doctor of Medicine Cum Laude and Surgery by the Salamanca University. Head of the Division of Cardiac Surgery at Quirónsalud Madrid University Hospital since 2006. He counts on an experience of more than 12 years in public and private hospitals. Currently he is also Chief of Cardiac Surgery at Puerta de Hierro Hospital, where he coordinates the Marfan’s Syndrome Unit. He also worked during 8 years at International M.D. Anderson Centre in Madrid (Spain).
One of the European surgeons with more experience in aorta surgery and in techniques of aortic valves preservation (David’s Technique). In Spain, is one of the top experts in coronary surgery without extra body circulation.
