Born in Madrid in 1971, she completed her medical studies at the Complutense University of Madrid, in 1995. She specialized in Nuclear Medicine at the University Clinic of Navarra in 2001, and an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra during that period. . Since 2001 he works as a nuclear medicine at the Oncology Platform of the Hospital Quirónsalud Torrevieja, Alicante, being responsible for the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Units of Nuclear Medicine. She is secretary of the Executive Committee of TEDECA and member of the Pharmacy Commission and the Ethical Committee of this hospital.

Areas of expertise. In PET-CT, forming in the University Clinic of Navarra (one of the two pioneering centers in Spain in this discipline), with an accumulated experience of more than 10 years. In the performance of radiometabolic treatments in different indications: thyroid cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, bone metastases and liver tumors (being the first Spanish center to perform treatments with 131I-Lipiodol). In limb perfusion monitoring with TNF, actively participating in the development and implementation of this therapeutic modality and in obtaining the pertinent authorizations in two of the only three centers authorized for this in Spain. In detection of sentinel lymph node with experience in breast, melanoma, gynecological and head and neck tumors.
