Juan José Mata Molanes has a degree in Biology from the University of Murcia (2000-2006), a health specialist in Immunology (BIR system, 2011 call) and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Navarra in 2015 obtaining the highest rating (Outstanding Cum Laude) unanimously by the Court. He developed his specialty at the University Clinic of Navarra between 2011 - 2015, and worked as a teaching collaborator at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra during that period.

Areas of expertise. Experience in the management of laboratory GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and in the elaboration of drugs of advanced therapies related to immunotherapy (vaccines with dendritic cells, TIL cells, LAK cells, CIK cells, etc). Specialist in the diagnosis and monitoring of hematological malignancies by flow cytometry (FacsCanto II, Navios). Formation in histocompatibility (study of HLA typing, study of anti-HLA antibodies, crossmatch analysis, ...) and autoimmunity (diagnostic experience in the analysis of autoantibodies).

In 2015 he joined the Oncology Platform of Hospital Quirónsalud Torrevieja as head of the Immunology Unit. Since its incorporation, it has participated as Production Manager in the implementation and accreditation in April 2016 of the White Room of the Oncology Platform for the non-industrial manufacture of advanced therapy drugs (vaccines of dendritic cells differentiated from autologous adult peripheral blood expanded lungs with prostatic acid phosphatase, for the treatment of prostate cancer). Since 2015 he has worked as a teaching assistant for the subject "Avances en Inmunología del Cáncer y Vacunas" of the University Master's Degree "Desarrollos Avanzados de Oncología Multidisciplinar Personalizada" taught at the Catholic University of Murcia. Associate researcher external to the research line "Inmunoterapia aplicada al tratamiento del cáncer" of the Catholic University of Murcia (2016-2017).

Co-author of six communications to congresses and four scientific articles in national and international indexed journals.

Active member of the Sociedad Española de Inmunología.
