What type of alopecia is the most frequent?

The most frequent type of alopecia and the main reason for consultation is male and female androgenetic alopecia, in which as a result of the influence of androgens on the hair follicles, the hair becomes progressively thinner, until reaching such degree of miniaturization that turns into hair, therefore an initial symptom of alopecia is that the patient shows the thinnest and lightest hair, and is followed by the loss of volume and capillary density.

85% of patients who diagnose their alopecia early and receive treatment manage to stabilize the problem within ten years. Mesotherapy with vitamin cocktails and drugs, as well as platelets (injecting the patient's own plasma into the scalp), are two of the most innovative treatments to achieve hair redensification. However, in the case of the definitive death of the follicle, there is no alternative but to resort to transplantation.

Hair transplant or micrografting

Hair transplantation or capillary micrografting is a minimally invasive surgical procedure performed under local anesthesia. It consists of carefully extracting the follicular units from the donor area and repopulating the receptor area where the follicular units have disappeared.

The diagnosis by experienced dermatologists-trichologists determines which technique is the most appropriate for each patient and guarantees the success of the transplant.

TECHNICAL FUE or NON SHAVEN WAS

With this technique the extraction of the follicular units is done in a less invasive way. With a punch of 0.8 mm, the grafts are extracted one by one leaving a small wound that does not require suturing and that will heal spontaneously, without visible posterior scar.

After the extraction of the follicles, we proceed to the implantation in the receiving area, following the design previously agreed upon with the patient.

This intervention is longer in terms of time, due to the individual extraction of each of the follicular units.

The FUE capillary transplant technique allows the individual extraction of hair follicles from various donor areas after shaving the area. This technique is performed without suturing or cutting the donor area, and without invasive surgery

The hair transplant technique NON SHAVEN FUE allows individual extraction of follicles from different areas without it being necessary to shave the donor area, this technique is performed without suturing or cutting the donor area, and without requiring invasive surgery.

This technique allows the patient to resume their daily routine within a few days of the transplant, since not having shaved hair from the donor area, the transplant goes completely unnoticed.

The micrografting or capillary transplant requires a medical team composed of expert trichologists specialized in hair surgery who must also follow the postoperative period since it involves medication that must be rigorously prescribed and controlled. In addition, the success of a transplant is guaranteed by the monitoring and supervision of the follicular unit transplanted to ensure future capillary vitality.
